A BUTCHER has come up with a right royal banger to commemorate Prince William and Kate Middleton’s forthcoming nuptials.

Bruce Edge, of EW Edge & Son, Handbridge, has created a sausage with ingredients from across the UK including English pork from Cheshire, Wales’s only single malt whisky and haggis from Scotland.

Mr Edge said: “I will be watching on television on the big day just as I watched the royal wedding in ‘81 as a child.

“I can’t say it’s as exciting as for my wife, who will be interested to see the bride’s dress, but I will be interested to see history in the making.”
