A CHESTER bike shop has found fame on national TV.
The Bike Factory, in Boughton, featured on BBC One’s The Apprentice on Wednesday night.
Philip Taylor, Kate Walsh and Ben Clarke, from team Empire, visited the store to try and sell a £35 bike pod – a bag to attach to a bike to carry items – as part of their sales task.
However shop manager David Parry was not convinced and refused to order any for his store.
Mr Parry said: “They were here filming for about half and hour with Nick (Hewer, Sir Alan’s aide). “They were very pleasant people and made every effort to sell their product but it didn’t work and it would not have sold.”
