A BEAUTICIAN who once gave former Tory leader William Hague a de-stress massage has celebrated her first year in business.
Hannah Povey, 24, runs Crowne Spa within Chester’s Crowne Plaza Hotel, Trinity Street, where she and three therapists look after both residents and non-residents.
Hannah, who previously worked at The Chester Grosvenor Spa, held a first birthday party for staff and customers, which included free mini-treatments along with cake and Champagne cocktails.
She said: “I wanted to set up my own business because I’m passionate about the industry. It’s all about making people feel good.”
Hannah, who has also treated jockey Frankie Dettori, Heidi from the Sugababes and Society girl Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, said men as well as women loved to be pampered. She says treatments are competitively priced and affordable to all pockets, not just for a special treat, but as a part of a regular routine.
Crowne Spa uses award-winning luxury Italian skincare range Comfort Zone, employing the latest technology for advanced results. For more call 01244 313 393 or visit www.crownespa.co.uk.
