A former geography and ICT teacher has taken his revenge on the village of Dodleston in his latest book.
Geoff Nelder, who taught at Queen’s Park High School for 26 years, remembers many of his pupils being bussed to school from the city’s outskirts.
Author Geoff, who has published more than 80 science fiction short stories, has obliterated Dodleston in his latest called The Memory Rock.
He said: “I do apologise and love the village - I often buy my papers there on one of my regular bike rides.”
Geoff also has six novels published including a humorous thriller Escaping Reality and the ARIA Trilogy science fiction about infectious amnesia.
Local landmarks including Chester Zoo and Penmaenmawr feature in his books.
