CHESTER and District Fuchsia Society held its 20th annual show at Gordale Garden Centre.
Almost 200 plants were exhibited in 30 classes and members were on hand to provide practical demonstrations and offer advice. The awards were presented by Gordale owner Peter Nicholson.
Trophy winners were Colin Dorrington (best standard fuchsia), Julie Williams (best basket fuchsia), Elaine Jones (floating flower display), Merle Clare (multi plant class), Janet Pickering (judge’s rosette) and Les Smith (best pot plant, best in show and points winner).
The society meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm at St Werbergh’s Centre, Brook Street, Chester.
