SAVINGS are being sought by Cheshire West and Chester Council in its arrangements for handling its capital projects.
Councillors have been told projects are at present managed and delivered by teams across the council.
A proposal has been drawn up to create a single capital programme team which would be more effective and would secure efficiencies in running costs.
Savings of £150,000 are in prospect during 2012/13, involving the equivalent of three full time staff.
Apart from the staffing reductions, the council believes it could also reduce the use of consultants.
