The UK's largest artificial Christmas tree will be unveiled at Cheshire Oaks on Thursday, November 13.

McArthurGlen’s Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet will launch its Christmas season with its annual switch on event when the tree will sparkle with more than 100,000 twinkling lights.

A magical archway makes it Europe's first walk-in Christmas tree, giving visitors a chance to see the enormity of it from the inside - plus find a special surprise.

This week's switch-on event will get the Christmas shopping season off with a bang, with fireworks set to music, choirs and festive bands.

It starts at 6pm and visitors are advised to arrive early.
