Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service attend roof fire at address on Mannings Lane South, Chester

BUILDERS accidentally set fire to the roof of a Chester house, according to Cheshire Fire and Rescue service.

Three appliances attended the scene in Mannings Lane South, at about 2.45pm on Thursday, February 25.

Crews used a lift to tackle the blaze that spread to the roof of a neighbouring property.
