THE first ever Ice Cream Farm Family Food Festival is taking place in Cheshire May 15-16.

Producers from all over the North West are getting involved in the event at the Ice Cream Farm in Tattenhall from 10am-5pm.

Some of the country’s finest chefs are coming along to do cookery demonstrations throughout the weekend, from the famed Brompton Cookery School.

Aimed at children and adults, the demonstrations will use ingredients from the festival’s own producers, creating fun and interesting dishes.

What’s more, the Cheshire Farm Ice Cream team will also be hosting a world record attempt.

After months of preparation, a Cheshire Farm Ice Cream representative will attempt to beat the world record for the most amount of ice cream consumed in 30 seconds.

There is plenty to see and do, from the new ice cream parlour, outdoor adventure playgrounds, animal corner and the Crazy Daisy’s indoor adventure playground.

Cheshire Farm Ice Cream is a family run business and is based at Drumlan Hall in Tattenhall where they have been creating award winning ice cream since 1986.

In the past year, awards won by the farm include an Excellence Award at the North West Foods Awards .
