SANTA Claus is coming to towns and villages in the area next month to help raise funds for local causes.
Father Christmas will be travelling around Frodsham, Helsby and Kingsley, throughout December giving children the opportunity to tell him what they would like for Christmas and for his elves to help raise money for charity.
Allen Wales of Frodsham and District Roundtable said: “Last year was a record for fundraising and we aim to beat it again this year.”
“Examples of the good causes we have given to this year include students Callum Teasdale and Jade Carr – to enable them to attend the world transplant games.
“Emma Leyland received a donation to help send her to help orphans in Zambia and Jack Armstrong received a donation to help him and his parents attend the Sonrise program in America.”
The float will be running from Sunday, December 6, until Wednesday, December 23, for the specific route visit www.rt940.co.uk.
