PEOPLE living in Crewe are being urged to use their vote in tomorrow's county council by-election.
The reminder comes from chairman Nora Dolphin as the campaign for the Crewe South seat enters its final day.
The by-election follows the death of Labour's Jeff Minshall, 69, who had been one of the town's county councillors for 10 years.
There are about 11,000 people eligible to vote in the Crewe South division which extends from Gresty Road to Wistaston Road and includes Manor Way, Nantwich Road, Stewart Street and Gainsborough Road.
Cllr Dolphin said: 'The candidate who earns the right to be the area's representative will have been chosen because of the power of each vote.
'He will shape the decisions of the 15th largest local authority in England with an annual budget of more than £600m. I urge people to use their vote.'
The current state of the parties on the county council is 28 Conservative, 16 Labour, five Liberal Democrat and one Independent.
Polling stations will be open between 8am and 9pm.
