Threatening clouds and some rainfall didn’t dampen spirits for the Ashton Hayes Rose Queen Celebration 2013, which raised more than £1,350.
Visitors were treated to cake stalls, a tin can alley and stocks, as well as a children’s recycled stall, and an ‘adopt an animal’ tombola from The Ash-worth Time Bank.
And of course, the guest of honour was Ashton Hayes Rose Queen Emma Cook, 12.
