MUSIC lovers are invited to a carol concert to raise funds for vulnerable children this Christmas.

The NSPCC has been offered free use of Chester Town Hall for its first ever Carols By Candlelight concert in aid of the charity.

The concert, on Tuesday (December 7), will see performances by The Senior County choir and the Senior County Wind Band from Flintshire County Music School.

It will feature carols, traditional music and singing in the candlelit setting of the town hall.

Helen Gazzola, NSPCC fundraising manager for Chester said: “Christmas is a time of great hope and anticipation for many children and their families,Šbut we mustn’t forget that this time of year can also be the most difficult time ofŠtheŠyear for some children.Š

“Your support at Carols by Candlelight will help the NSPCC deliver its national services, like ChildLine, and the NSPCC Helpline and will make a huge difference for thousands of vulnerable children who so desperately need our support.”

Tickets for Carols by Candlelight, are £8 for adults, £5 concessions and accompanied children under 16 are free.
