A PRESTIGE car dealer which has been trading in Helsby for more than seven years is closing.
District Garage, Chester Road, Helsby, whose motto is “we will supply anything from a Mini to a Ferrari”, has already begun moving some of its 70 vehicles from the forecourt.
Owner Nick Shaw was unavailable for comment but it is not thought that the garage was driven to closure because of financial difficulties.
A staff member said: “The business has not failed or gone into liquidation but Mr Shaw has decided to close.”
