THE driver of a car that crashed 30ft down an embankment disappeared from the scene.
A green Ford Mondeo was found in flames at J14 of the M56 close to Hapsford at about 1am on Tuesday.
The car had come from the A5117 to the M56 and appears to have gone straight the black and white arrow barrier.
The car had been observed by Chester and North Wales police driving erratically on the A483 Wrexham Road a week earlier.
Crews on one appliance from Ellesmere Port fire station attended the blaze.
