This is an e-fit image of the man police want to speak to about the physical and sexual assault of a woman in Ellesmere Port.
Police have released the image following the incident involving a woman in her forties who was walking along an alleyway between Enfield Road and Heathfield Road at around 6.30pm on Sunday, February 21 when a man approached her and grabbed her.
He then took her to a secluded spot and assaulted her physically and sexually.
When the victim attempted to fight him off and screamed for help, the offender eventually fled the scene.
DC Kevin Cooper of Cheshire Police said: “As well as releasing the efit, I’m keen to speak to anyone who heard a scream for help or if you remember anyone running from the area of Enfield Road and Heathfield Road at around this time?
"If you have any information please contact police.”
