CHESTER Sea Cadets will face a big challenge this month.

The youngsters, who perform a choreographed rifle routine, may find themselves up against the country’s toughest judge – Simon Cowell.

The cadets have made it through to the next round of the ITV talent show Britain’s Got Talent and are waiting to hear whether they will have to perform before Cowell and fellow judges Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan this month.

The cadets have been recalled after impressing the producers of the show at the end of last year.

Carol Spann, whose son Adam Clare is one of the cadets, said: “They are all quite nervous but have been rehearsing really hard. They’ve got some new routines up their sleeves.”
