Water supplies have now been restored for customers in Guilden Sutton near Chester after a water main was repaired.

Dee Valley Water reported at 1.20pm today (Monday, July 11) that the burst pipe was affecting residents in Wicker Lane, School Lane and Oaklands.

However, by 4.05pm the repairs had been carried out.

A spokesman said: "The mains repair has now been completed and water supplies should be back to normal. As a result of the mains burst you may have discoloured water. If this occurs, please run your cold kitchen tap until it clears."

Dee Valley Water has apologised for any inconvenience.
