SNOW closed a number of services in Chester today (Monday).
Chester Library is closed today (Monday) because of a burst water pipe which has resulted in no heating for the building.
Books can still be returned to the library front door or to any other Cheshire West and Chester Library.
People are asked to check the council's website (www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk) for information as to when Chester library will reopen.
The swimming pools at the Northgate Arena, Chester, and Neston Recreation Centre, Neston, have also closed due to burst pipes.
It is thought freezing water expanded and cracked the seams of the pipes.
