FOLLOWING a change of management, the Brookhouse Urban Garden Scheme (BUGS) has announced business is blooming.

After the retirement of founder Susie Mitchell, the award-winning community group is continuing its work on an allotment near to the Brookhouse Drive Estate, Crewe, thanks to the help of Pathways Community Interest Company and Wulvern Housing.

The scheme offers children aged six and over the chance to get involved with gardening and sell their organic food every Saturday (10am to noon), with a mums and tots session on Mondays (10am to noon).

If you would like to get involved with BUGS, phone Yvonne Clarke on 01270 275518 for more information.
