YELLOW water left a nasty taste in the mouth of Watergate Street residents this morning.
Tap water appeared bubbly and with a yellow tinge after over night work on pipes affected the supply.
Bryn Bellis of Dee Valley Water said: “The Watergate Street area of Chester was affected. We had been doing some work over night, looking for leaks and what's happened is air is in the water and that’s caused it to go cloudy.
“There is nothing wrong with it to drink. We are doing some flushing to clear it quicker. It should be fine in the next few hours.”
