More than a hundred excited shoppers queued up to be the first inside a new clothes store in Broughton.

The doors to OUTFIT, which is home to popular high street brands such as Top Shop, Topman and Dorothy Perkins, opened at 9.30am today (March 24).

The new store at Broughton Shopping Park has created 40 jobs, according to the retailer.

The store was officially opened at 12.30pm by Hollyoaks stars Jamie Lomas, Nikki Sanderson, and Stephanie Waring.

The first 50 customers through the door this morning with rewarded with a £10 gift card, while a DJ and a free Topshop nail bar is in place as part of the store opening celebrations.

The store contains some of the UK’s top high street womenswear and menswear brands including Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Wallis, Topman and Burton.

It has a purpose built footwear space and a “huge choice of latest trends” providing customers with an “all-in-one retail environment”.

The opening comes after more than 550 shoppers queued to get their first look at Primark’s newest store in North Wales.

The doors to the Broughton store – the firm’s 300th branch – were officially opened last week to cheers from eager shoppers.
