RESIDENTS at a Broughton care home had an Easter treat when they were joined by a chattering of chicks.
Eggs in incubators were brought in to Warrendale Cottage – and 19 chicks soon joined the residents.
The chicks will stay there for two weeks.
Deputy manager Sarah Kirby said: “The residents have found it very interesting and have been sitting by the incubators watching the eggs hatch.
“They’ve loved having the chicks here.”
