Chester twins James and Andy Ayshford hope to double up on efforts to raise £1000 for Help for Heroes.

The brothers from Waverton go by the name of ‘The Twin Engines’ and hope to fuel their way through the Scottish Half Marathon this September.

The Abbey Gate College pupils, who are just about to commence their sixth-form studies, felt there was no better way to eliminate the summer holiday boredom than by promoting and training for the challenge.

Andy aspires to be in the RAF, so therefore Help for Heroes is a charity very close to his heart and fitness fanatic James has a passion for running.

The Twin Engines can be found on Twitter @twinengines1 and have a Facebook page called ‘The Twin Engines’. Text AAJA91 £3 to 70070 to donate £3 or visit the Twin Engines Just Giving page www.justgiving.com/twinengines .
