Singing brothers Richard and Adam Johnson have appeared on breakfast TV this morning (Friday, August 2).

The opera singing duo from Holywell, who rose to fame after appearing on television show Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year, were seen by the nation's viewers when they turned up on BBC Breakfast shortly before 9am.

The brothers were interviewed by presenters Charlie Stayt and Cheshire resident Louise Minchin about their first album The Impossible Dream , which features a collection of hits such as Bring Him Home and Ave Maria.

The album was released on Monday and has been flying off the shelves, reached number two in Amazon’s online chart.

The former Holywell High students, who both made sandwiches for a living in Flint, signed a deal with Sony Music after coming third in the final of the show – during which an egg  throwing musician stormed the stage– and have been making regular television and musical appearances since.
