A WEDDING show is being held at Chester FC to raise vital funds for the breast cancer care unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

Vintage bridal company Belles D’Epoca has organised the event – Think Pink Bridal Show – which takes place over two floors at the Exacta Stadium from 11am-3pm on Sunday, September 2.

The growing business, which is run by best friends Emma-Louise Porter and former University of Chester student Hayley Last, has a host of Cheshire-based suppliers on board as well as retail giant John Lewis.

There will also be two catwalks running on the day and a raffle with prizes including wedding cakes, a vintage Beetle car for use on a lucky couple’s big day, and free hair and make-up sessions.

Emma-Louise, who is a Chester FC supporter and volunteer, said: “We are delighted to be working with Chester FC for such a good cause.

“As fans we were inspired to do something within our field to help the charity after the ‘Think Pink’ matchday last season.

“As Chester FC is a community club working towards bringing the people of Cheshire together we wanted to be a part of this and what better way than through weddings?

“The Think Pink Bridal Show will showcase local businesses and also allow people the opportunity to see Chester FC as a potential venue.

“With the revamp of the Legends Lounge it is a perfect facility to hold a wedding reception.”

The show has been advertised in You & Your Wedding, which is the UK’s best-read wedding magazine.

Admission is £3 on the door. There is currently a very small number of stalls left so to book email mail@bellesdepoca.co.uk.
