TEN-PIN bowling action with a 1970s theme will soon be taking place in aid of charity.
The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, which funds research into a cure for muscle wasting diseases, is taking over the lanes at the Megabowl in Chester on Thursday, February 22 from 7.30pm.
Charles Horton, regional fundraising manager for the charity, said: 'We need as many teams as possible to enter and raise sponsorship.
'Get in the spirit of the occasion and come along in 70s fancy dress.'
The event is for teams of six. Three games of bowling and shoe hire are included in the team entry fee of £30. Each team is asked to raise sponsorship too.
There will be trophies for the top three teams, the highest men's and ladies scorers and the best 70s dress. Catering and licensed bar will be available.
