A CHESHIRE showjumping event has secured a top sponsor in addition to the big names who will be attending the equestrian weekend.
The Bolesworth Castle Showjumping Classic and Country Fair will take place from July 15-18 at the Castle in Tattenhall.
This year sponsor Volkswagen has expanded their sponsorship commitment to the equestrian show. There will now be a £6,000 prize fund with a first prize of £2,000 for the new The Volkswagen Bolesworth Castle Eventing Grand Prix. This class will put event riders and show-jumpers head to head.
As well as this top brand they have secured top show jumpers Oliver Townend, Jeanette Brakewell and Gary Parsonage who will be competing for the hotly contested prize money in this new addition to the equestrian weekend.
Show director Nina Barbour said: “Each year the show just keeps growing and with the continued support of local companies, we are able to continue to offer a fantastic event with generous prize funds which attract some of the UK’s biggest rider names.”
