Police have found a body near Northwich in the search for a missing woman from Warrington.

Nicola Vine, 32, was reported missing by her family on Friday (June 26).

Officers discovered the body on Pole Lane in Antrobus at 5.35pm on Monday (June 29), after receiving reports of a sudden death.

A spokesman for Cheshire Constabulary said: “The body has not yet been formally identified but at this stage officers believe it to be 32-year-old Nicola Vine who was reported missing from Warrington on Friday 26th June.

“The family of the missing woman have been informed, and our thoughts are with them and friends at this time.”

Appealing for information over the weekend, Chief Insp Pete Shaw said it was ‘completely out of character’ for Nicola not to be in touch with family or friends.
