Football fans can have their pictures taken with the real FA Cup and collect prints from the Oscar Broadband Bus.

Other attractions include fairground rides, craft stalls, a bouncy castle, a bicycle road show, eco corner, face painting, giant slide, trampolines, pony rides, a football penalty shootout, refreshments and much more.

The event will go on until approximately 3pm and is organised by Blacon Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder.

The group’s Carolyn Smith said: “The central arena will have a programme of events including Blacon Schools Choir, Singing Hands, Chester Angels Cheer Leaders, D4J and our very own Blacon’s Got Talent.”

BLOB On the day of the festival there may be slight traffic congestion between the Arches School and Saughall Road, Western Avenue and Melbourne Road to Blacon High School as the festival parade makes its way to the arena.
