TICKETS are on sale for a black-tie ball to raise funds for a cancer charity.
North West Cancer Research Fund (NWCRF) will host its Butterfly Ball on Saturday, September 25, at Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel, Ledsham.
Last year’s ball raised more than £11,000 and organisers are hoping to smash that total this year.
This year’s fundraiser has the theme ‘enchanted’ and guests will enjoy a three-course meal with wine, entertainment from BBC Radio Merseyside’s Willie Miller and a charity auction.
Tickets for the ball cost £550 for a table of 10 or £60 each.
