CHESTER students tried their hands at everything from African drumming to white water rafting during two fun-filled activity days.
Pupils of Bishops’ Blue Coat Church of England High School took part in more than 40 activities, including mountain biking, rocket design, dog awareness training, model building and a CSI-style forensic workshop.
They also had the chance to create and perform a mini version of one of the Chester Mystery Plays over the course of a single day.
Dee 106.3 radio station joined in the celebrations by broadcasting events as they happened.
Assistant headteacher Andrew Clarkson said staff and children were delighted with the programme of workshops.
He added: “The activities gave our students new experiences and ties in with our philosophy of giving our students a broad education and widening students’ horizons.”
