SIXTH form politics students from Bishop Heber High School in Malpas took a special trip to London to meet with Eddisbury MP Stephen O’Brien.

The International Development Minister welcomed the youngsters to Westminster for a tour of the Palace and a question and answer session with their MP.

Whilst there they demonstrated their political knowledge and grilled Mr O’Brien on subjects including international aid and the policies of the coalition government.

Mr O’Brien said he was ‘delighted’ to meet with the students: “I was very impressed by their erudite questions, which are a testament not only to the students but to their teachers and the school.”
