A PLAN to fence off a green in Chester may help drive out nuisance motorcyclists.
Paul Noon, of Blacon Adventure Playground, is hoping to win a National Lottery and BBC Breathing Spaces grant of £7,723 to fence off a green next to the playground.
In a report put to Blacon Area Committee last Wednesday, Mr Noon said: 'Nuisance motorcyclists would not be able to access the green.
'The addition of the green would increase the opportunities for children and young people to contribute to their community.
'With the addition of tree, shrub and hedge planting, residents over-looking the green would have a pleasant and pastoral view.'
He has spoken to 30 of the 56 homes overlooking the green near Shelley Road, Tennyson Walk and Kipling Road.
They unanimously agreed to fencing the green off as part of the playground's activities.
Now they will wait until May to find out if his application is successful.
