TODDLER groups from Frodsham got together to raise money for charity.

Pre-schoolers gathered at Castle Park, Frodsham for a sponsored toddle to raise money for the Wellspring Children’s Medical Centre in Uganda.

Organiser Becky Hough said: “All the children carried a balloon with the name of a child in Uganda.

“Each of these children will benefit from the money raised today.”

The health facility, based in Kempala, Uganda, is dedicated solely to child health care and aims to improve the quality of life of thousands of children.

Vital services provided by the centre include health screening, vaccination programmes, specialist consultant care, lab facilities and a HIV unit as well as a nursery, day schools and maternity facilities.
