ENGLISH Heritage bosses are appealing for photographs of days out at Beeston Castle.

And they’re offering a year’s pass to the historic attraction for the best pictures.

A spokesman said: “We are hoping to create a photomontage of the castle to go on display, but need to collect more images to create a detailed final image.”

The castle’s marketing assistant, Katharine Wrigley, said: “We had some stunning aerial photos taken of the castle earlier this year.

“Unlike many photo competitions, they are not merely looking for stunning views of the site itself, but just about any photograph is eligible, as long as it was taken during a visit to the castle.”

Every week until the end of October, one contributor will receive a 12-month family pass for the castle.

Everyone submitting images will receive a discount voucher valid against a future visit to the site.

Budding snappers can email their shots to beestonphotos@ fim.org.uk before October 31. Restrict the file size of each image to no more than 1MB.
