TWO teenage brothers have had Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs) placed on them by the court.

District judge Philip Dodd also ruled Terry James Busch, 15, and Ashley Busch, 16, should be publicly identified despite being youths.

Mr Dodd, sitting in Chester, Ellesmere Port & Neston Magistrates Court, has awarded a five-year ASBO against both boys.

The pair, from Percival Road in Ellesmere Port, must now keep out of trouble until 2008.

They've been banned from entering the town centre and Cheshire Oaks, cannot visit any pubs or clubs until they are 18 and must keep away from all schools in the town.

They face a possible prison sentence if they breach any part of the order.

Cheshire police spokesman John Ratcliffe said after the hearing: 'These ASBOs follow a number of incidents in the Ellesmere Port area.

'These have resulted in harassment, alarm and distress to the retail community and other residents.'

Constable John Gilliland, of Ellesmere Port police, said: 'We were concerned about the behaviour of these individuals and the effect on the quality of life of the whole community.

'Therefore, positive action was taken against them.

'Due to the number of offences committed we were able to gather sufficient evidence to prove to the court that the ASBO was necessary.

'The order does carry the threat of imprisonment if breached and sends a very clear message that those associated with anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.'

PC Gilliland added: 'Any anti-social behaviour should be reported immediately.'

Ellesmere Port police are on 01244 613020.
