A DISPLAY of the best art talent in the area will be on display at Bickerton Village Hall next week.

More than 320 pieces of art by artists from Cheshire, Shropshire and the Wirral will go on show at the popular annual art event.

Eddisbury MP Stephen O’Brien will open the exhibition tonight with the artists and their friends and family.

Organiser Ann Boxall, from Bickerton, said: “There will be a whole variety of art on display, the majority of which will be up for sale.

“The artists have a wide range of styles so there should be something to everyone’s taste. Artists have been preparing for this exhibition for quite a while so it will be great to see it all come together.

“Everyone is welcome to view the wonderful work we have on display. It will be a lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon.”

Refreshments will be available at the hall and throughout the week there will also be an opportunity to meet some of the artists and see them at work.

The event has been organised by the Bickerton Village Hall Committee and will open to the public from Saturday, August 2 through to Sunday, August 10, from 11am until 7pm daily.
