FOUR elements of the Arts joined together to raise funds for the Cheshire and North Wales Lady Taverners.

The special event took place in the Long Room at Eaton Hall by kind permission of the Duke and Duchess Westminster and was sponsored by Storrar & Cowdry Solicitors Chester and UK Land & Property.

Fine artist Brian Taylor of Eccleston, who has paintings hanging in galleries in New York, London, Sydney and Toronto, painted a new collection especially for the Lady Taverners’ exhibition.

Hammond School of Dance students performed a show.

Culinary arts were donated by Catherine Skates Catering and jazz saxophonist Dean Houston entertained with music while Charlie Chaplin look-alike Frank Terry amused guests.

Chris Talbot from the Lady Taverners committee said: ‘We are so grateful to everyone who has given their time and energy to make the evening so successful. Brian Taylor’s paintings were truly beautiful, the music and mime were delightful.’

More than £5,000 was raised on the night.
