Arsonists set fire to a play area in Ellesmere Port this afternoon.
Firefighters from Ellesmere Port were called shortly before 4.40pm today following reports of a blaze at Whitby Park.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the fire was started deliberately. No injuries were reported.
Cheshire Police were in attendance.
