ONE of the stars of last year’s The Apprentice series is to host a new monthly event in Chester, inviting the public to have Tea With an Architect.

Gabrielle Omar made it to the 10th week of the BBC hit series before being given the dreaded ‘You’re Fired’ signal from Lord Sugar.

Now the qualified architect has founded the event, which sees members of the public have a chat and a cup of tea with local architects.

The national scheme will arrive in Chester next Tuesday at an event in Northgate’s new Tea on the Wall shop, located up the steps from the Joseph Benjamin restaurant.

The first will be held on Tuesday from 5-9pm.

It has been designed for people thinking of starting any renovation work, a new build or anyone who has a great idea on how architecture can lift their community.

Architects will give advice on where to start when thinking of beginning a project, as well as giving information of how they can help people with planning an existing project.
