A BAND’S rocky road to TV glory was finally ended for good on Sunday.

Out From Animals endured numerous obstacles on the talent show T4 mobileAct Unsigned.

But there will be no second chance for the plucky Chester trio as they bowed out in style for the last time.

Singer and guitarist Andy Morgan, 24, of Huntington, and Cambrian View residents Paul Bunker, 23, on bass and Sean Howe, 23, on drums and samples were voted back onto the show to impress the judges by a public vote.

Out From Animals were one of four bands given the opportunity to regain the judging panel’s favour but they lost out to Envy and Other Sins.

Head of A&M Records Simon Gavin, previously critical of the band, conceded it was their best performance so far. But he and DJ Jo Whiley, alongside Blur’s Alex James, opted to ditch the electro-rock outfit for a second time.

Andy said: “We got told on Wednesday we’d have to go to London even if we didn’t get through.

“I was in two minds whether to go but I’d spent the week telling people to vote for us so we had to show face for the people that supported us.

“When we got called to be the fourth band I couldn’t believe it, it was a complete shock.

“We were the only band to mention the reason we were down there – because the fans had got behind us.”

Andy and the rest of the band now have plans to record an album with producer Paul Tipler, who recorded Idlewild’s first two albums.

Andy added: “mobileAct has been a really big step in the right direction.

“We got a manager off the back of all this and should have a single out in April. ”
