TWO cars collided on the M56 near Thornton-Le-Moors on Saturday (July 20).
The incident happened on the eastbound carriageway between junction 15 at Stoak and junction 14 Hapsford at 7.20pm.
Two fire engines from Ellesmere Port and one from Chester attended along with ambulance crews.
Nobody was trapped in the vehicles, but fire crews assisted the North West Ambulance Service by administering casualty care.
