DAME Edna missed a treat – Bill Howarth’s magnificent gladioli at Willaston and District Horticultural Society’s 61st annual show would have had the Australian superstar in raptures of delight.
The show, held in the church hall, included exhibits of vegetables, flowers, produce and flower arranging, as well as paintings by children from Willaston Church of England primary.
There was also the ever popular auction of remaining exhibits.
