The new Aldi Store on Tarvin Road Chester, held a Valentine’s wine tasting event on Friday, February 14.
The store hosted acclaimed wine connoisseur Philippe Boucheron from 12.30pm until 7.30pm where customers dropped in to taste the range of wines ideal for Valentine’s Day gifting.
Philippe shared a selection of Aldi’s wines with customers and directed a full tasting experience with instruction on colour, aroma and finally, flavour.
Philippe was on hand to answer customer questions about the wines available in-store and shared tips for creating a well-rounded wine offering for Valentines and new spring flavour trends.
Store manager, Emma Butterworth said: “We were extremely pleased to welcome Philippe to the store and we hope our customers enjoyed sampling a range of Aldi’s award winning wines.”
