TEA time at Aldford School raised funds for a Chester charity.

Year 6 students organised the tea party to raise money for Save the Family, the school’s chosen charity for the year.

Angella Rawsthorne from the charity received a cheque from the children during an assembly and she said she was truly moved by the hard work they had put in to organising the event.

Headteacher Rebecca Walker said: “The event was exceptionally successful with the children raising more than £300. Thank you very much to all those who supported this worthy cause.”
