Airbus Broughton nominates Wales Air Ambulance as its fundraising partner

AIRBUS UK has set up a fundraising partnership with Wales Air Ambulance.

It follows an employee vote that resulted in 55% of the workforce at Airbus’ Broughton site choosing the cause as the company’s focus charity through to 2010.

To mark the start of this new campaign, employees at Airbus’ Broughton site were treated to a flying visit from the North Wales Air Ambulance – one of a fleet of three helicopters.

Chairman of Airbus in the UK's Charity Challenge scheme, Phil Jones, said: “Having a partner charity is extremely important to us.”
