An air ambulance has been called out to Farndon after a three-vehicle crash.

Paramedics have been aiding casualties after the accident near to the village sports club on Wednesday (July 20).

The crash happened at the crossroads between the A534 and B5130 at about 5.30pm.

Cheshire Police and fire engines from Chester and Malpas also attended the incident.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service statement said: "Nobody was trapped in any of the vehicles. Firefighters have been helping paramedics with casualties and have made the area safe.

"Police officers are controlling traffic and the air ambulance has arrived at the scene.

"This incident will be updated when more information is available."
