A BIG celebration was in order when the latest graduates from the Four Estates IT courses received their certificates.

The courses, put together by The Four Estates, a local community development charity and funded by Riverside Cheshire, were hailed as a major success with over 25 students receiving a certificate of achievement.

The courses covered a range of topics including MS Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Photoshop plus many others and were tailored for both complete beginners as well as more advanced users.

Both courses were free to those on a low income and are just one of the many community projects that Four Estates has orchestrated.

The certificates were presented by Four Estates chair Nora Rimmer, and Neil Townsend of Riverside Cheshire, both of whom where extremely pleased to be involved with the project.

Neil said: 'It's great to see so many people who want to better themselves, courses like this are extremely important as many would find the costs prohibitive, we're extremely pleased to have been able to fund the project and look forward to similar joint ventures with Four Estates in the future.'
