A HOOLE primary school choir hit the right notes to win a trophy in a festival of performing arts.
The under 11s choir, of Abbey Gate School, won the Jessett Shield in the Chester Festival of Performing Arts at the King’s School Chester.
They sang A Chinese Cradle Song by Smith and Music is My Life by Hadden.
Head Sue Fisher said; “I am immensely proud of our choir.
“They thoroughly enjoyed their day at the festival and were thrilled to win such a splendid trophy which has been won in the past by such illustrious choirs as the Manchester Boys’ Choir.
“They were great ambassadors for the school.”
